Given significant continuing interest in technology by Anderson Township Senior Center (ATSC) members but a lack of volunteer leadership**, the talks we’ve called Eastside Tech Talks will be replaced by technology talks/seminars that Claire, our ATSC Activities Manager, arranges.

The good news? Claire has already been scheduling some really good technology talks, as noted below! Please keep attending all of these wonderful tech talks as the year 2020 progresses.

Here are upcoming technology talks in February and March at ATSC:

• 2/13 from 12 Noon – 1 PM: “What’s New @ Microsoft?” Sarah Yocis or another of Sarah’s colleagues from Microsoft will share the latest!
• 3/4 @ 10:30 Outsmart the Scammers
• 3/9 @ 10:30 AARP Smart DriverTEK

** Steve is “bowing out” and no volunteer from ESTT is stepping forward (the person initially willing to help with some of the 2020 ESTT planning is no longer available)

It’s clear there is continuing interest in technology discussions at the Anderson Township Senior Center. We’re blessed that Becky Mathey is willing to help with some of the 2020 planning. She will be meeting with Steve Long and Claire O’Connell to discuss next steps (if you have interest in helping with planning, please let Becky, Steve or Claire know.)

Sarah from Microsoft is a willing to continue as one of our contributors. On February 13th at noon she will be covering “What’s New @ Microsoft?” Come join the gathering that day and/or keep your eyes/ears open for other technology talks continuing in 2020…
